It&#8217;s sometimes is discouraging to know that you can&#8217;t simply sell <a href=\"http:\/\/coverthefamily.info\" title=\"See how Legal Shield can protect you today.\" target=\"_blank\">Legal Shield<\/a> (formerly known as Pre-Paid Legal) plans in any state or province that you want. This isn&#8217;t entirely Legal Shield&#8217;s fault, but it&#8217;s the individual states that decided to charge a tax in order to fill their own pockets fault. <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, here are a couple lists of Provinces in Canada and States in the United States that require you have a license to sell Legal plans. Some of them require a test and fee, others just a fee and the fee is usually and annual fee if you know what I mean. <\/p>\n<p>**Note that some of the provinces in Canada simply don&#8217;t allow Legal Shield plans to be sold there with a license or without.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Canada licensed Provinces:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New Brunswick<\/li>\n<li>New Foundland<\/li>\n<li>Nova Scotia<\/li>\n<li>Northwest Territories<\/li>\n<li>Nunavut<\/li>\n<li>Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Prince Edward Island<\/li>\n<li>Quebec<\/li>\n<li>Saskatchewan<\/li>\n<li>Yukon Territory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>United States licensed States<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alaska<\/li>\n<li>Alaska<\/li>\n<li>Alabama<\/li>\n<li>Arkansas<\/li>\n<li>Florida<\/li>\n<li>Hawaii<\/li>\n<li>Illinois<\/li>\n<li>Massachusetts <\/li>\n<li>Missouri<\/li>\n<li>Mississippi<\/li>\n<li>Montana<\/li>\n<li>Nebraska<\/li>\n<li>New Jersey<\/li>\n<li>South Carolina<\/li>\n<li>Tennessee<\/li>\n<li>Texas<\/li>\n<li>Virginia<\/li>\n<li>Wisconsin<\/li>\n<li>West Virginia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I hope this list is useful to you in your efforts to not waste advertising dollars in areas that require a license to legally sell a legal plan for Legal Shield.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wanted to write this article awhile ago, but got busy with other things.
