I just wanted to give a really quick tutorial on posting links on this money promotion forum, or any other forum out there.

When posting links on any website out there, you want to think like a search engine.

For example, when you post a direct web link without a keyword over it, it's basically worthless to the search engines. Now I know you want to get the most bang for your link posting so I highly recommend that you start using this technique right away.

I'll use my Global NPN link as a real life scenerio. Here is the raw absolute link to my Global NPN referral link:

http://globalnpn.com/?id=56437&tag=  (hint: Don't post links this way!)

Now, the referral link works perfectly fine, that's not the problem. Remember what I spoke about earlier on using a keyword over your absolute links. This provides way more information for the search engines to pick up on what you're trying to link to.

In forums, there are two ways you can do this. Instead of the absolute link, I'm going to use the keyword Global NPN like I did above.

Code:
[url=http://globalnpn.com/?id=56437&tag=]Global NPN[/url]

or

<a href="http://globalnpn.com/?id=56437&tag=">Global NPN</a>

As simple of a task this may seem, it will really help you get more traffic back to your posted links, topics, and web pages. So make it a habit in your pursuit for online success!

Hi Everyone,

Here are a couple of tips I have picked up about search engine optimization:

Google has an adwords tool you can use that will tell you how many times a particular word or phrase is searched for on Google. You just enter the word/phrase you want and when you get the results you can click on each header to have the results sorted by that option.

It also tells you how many other sites are using that word/phrase so you can see how much competition you have. Obviously, you want to use words/phrases that are searched for a lot but are only used by a few other sites.

Go To
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Another tool you can use is to do a Google search for the word or phrase where you would like your site to appear.

When you get the results, go to the top site, then click in your menu bar. VIEW - PAGE SOURCE

This will give you all of the info. on that site set-up, look for meta tags or meta names and you will see all of the tags that site is using.

I hope some of you can make good use of this information.
