Do You Know What Duplicate Content Is?

In a nutshell here is what Duplicate Content means

Duplicate content is a phrase used in the subject of search engine optimization to describe
content that is currently on more than one web page, WITHIN THE SAME INTERNET SITE.

When several webpages within a web site include primarily the same content, search
engines such as Google/Yahoo/Bing can choose not to display that sites current information.

Not many people realise this. People often think DUPLICATE CONTENT means
they can't have the same article or the same post or what not on another site.

And often because of this mis conception people shy away
from posting the same article that they've written on other sites.

What I must stress though is that you can only have the same article on another
site, only if that site you are posting to doesn't have it as well.Do you understand?



So just to recap!

* Can I have the same article that I've
written on another site If the site doesn't have it? - YES



* What if the site does have the same article? - No

(Remember this is what is counted as DUPLICATE CONTENT)

And that is what Google will slap..lol

News are the different thing, other then if we are using same content without any modification then it will surly consider as duplicate content. So as per my view, it is good if we try to avoid it.
