If you need some extra money and can qualify for this; it’ll beat getting a second part time job and it costs you nothing to register. Nothing better than some risk free income and the ads are pretty cool looking.

I went ahead and registered for my truck, I doubt I’ll get approved though since my truck is in pretty rough shape, but it will be worth the shot, why not. It took me less then 10 minutes to fill out all the required questions. Now I’m just waiting to hear back and see if there are any opportunities in my area.

I’m not 100% sure on the actual rules for being approved, but I think you have to own your car outright in order to qualify. Correct me if I’m wrong; plus it depends how far you drive on a daily basis, plus what kind of car you have.

You have to have a driver’s license and insurance of course, the advertisement will stay on your car anywhere from 3 months to a couple of years depending on the advertiser. The vehicle would be wrapped in a cool looking visually appealing ad using 3M vinyl.

Invest it

Are you an expert at picking growth stocks? Do you know the foreign currency markets well? If you have some specific financial expertise, you can use seed money to invest online. It does not take much money to start as a small investor online, and you avoid a lot of large broker’s fees. You do have to know what you are doing, but there are people who can sit at home and make money via online investing.

Freelancing

Maybe you know a computer language or how to program mobile applications. There are a variety of freelance boards that allow anyone to make a little side income from home. You will have to pay a percentage of what you make to the boards, but it is a great way to network and find side jobs for specific skills like programming or translating. Anything that you can do remotely is a good candidate for freelancing. Take a look at freelance boards like Elance.com or oDesk.com.

Monetize your actions

You can make money from your online actions or at least virtual money that you can trade in for goods on a specific site. For instance, Swagbucks.com will give you Swag Bucks to use their search engine to browse the web and other activities. These can be traded in for goods in their Swag Store. Monetize activities from searches to completing offers online or getting others to register to these services via your referral link.

Of course they didn’t tell me straight away that is was whole life insurance (because they were trying to sell me an educational product), but I was able to figure it out on my own since they said you’re not limited on how much you can invest, you earn reinvested dividends plus about 5% to 7% annual tax-deferred growth, guaranteed never to lose value, you can borrow against your cash value, you earn the interest instead of paying the banks interest, and you can Will the policy off to your children, etc…. Sounds great, right?

This all enticed me greatly because it all sounds really good. I knew that there would be a cost, since it’s an insurance product, but I figure it will pay for itself over time.

After doing a little bit more research I decided to go with Bank on Yourself to get one of their free consultations. They were very nice. After my hour long appointment with a sales representative. I told them I would be willing to do no less than $250.00 a month, but no more than $500.00 a month. Of course the sales rep tried to over sell me even on the $500.00 a month and it sounded better with a $250,000 life insurance policy right off the bat.

I was told that I would get a guaranteed 6% to 7% annually plus dividends. I would have a cash value of at least $15,000.0o by the year 2014 and by the time I reach 71 years old, my investment would be around $1.3 million dollars. That all sounded pretty good, buy that’s $500.00 a month for the rest of my life and if you really think about it, a 6% annual return is a pretty poor return. I can make a 6% return with one stock in less than a week. Of course I could lose that much just as easily, but investing is all about cash management.

What I found out about borrowing against yourself instead of a bank is that the insurance company charges you about 5% or what they will lose on not having access to the cash value and you pay yourself back on your own terms with extra interest to yourself being careful not to go over your maximum annual premium.

The main problem I have with whole life insurance is you have to pay a pretty hefty premium that they don’t tell you about and measly 5% to 7% annual return is pretty pathetic.

In conclusion, instead of throwing all your money at insurance products, which are really only out there to get your money in the end, you should educate yourself and learn how to invest your money on your own because you’ll get a way better return in the end.

Simply purchase low cost term insurance for 20 or 30 years to protect your family and if you invest your money wisely, you won’t need an insurance policy anymore by the time you retire. And if the need ever rises where you’ll ever want to borrow money from yourself, well, that won’t be a problem either, because you won’t have to pay a 5% penalty for borrowing your own money if you’re wise with it and you won’t have to pay it back.

How do you accomplish this?

One of the easiest ways to do this is to put in a stop order a little bit lower then where you’re at. You also don’t want to blindly go into a trade either, unless you’re solely a fundamental investor.

The best way I’ve found to get into a stock is when the 50 day moving average crosses above the 200 day moving average. Of course, this is only one indicator and you may want to use more.

You can also use a trailing stop order as well. I don’t like these as much because it could possibly work against you. You can even use a combination of a stop order at a lower price and with a  trailing stop on top.

In a bear or volatile market like we are in now where we don’t know how low the market could go, stop orders can really protect a good percentage of your gains and get you completely out of a stock if it’s going to drop below your initial entry point.

There is so much you can do with a blog. Plus a blog is so much better than a website. Why? Because it is updated dynamically unlike a website, which is usually static and hard to update.

After realizing all the extra work that would take plus me not having the required tools to get something like that set up rather quickly, I’ve decided that a simple audio conference would suffice.
