I doubt very much that it is a fad as it has actually filed to be a publicly traded company - something MySpace or Facebook have never done. Who cares if you make money anyways - that is not the reason I joined. I joined because all of my friends were going to the site anyway just as they did to Facebook from MySpace, which I can see happening to the masses of people all over again - people go where people are and it sounds like they are going to PeopleString ... enjoy! I have not earned a lot of money, but I am not upgraded either. I agree with you on that point.
